WATCH FOR UPCOMING GREEN BAY FILM FESTIVAL EVENTS
There are upcoming Festival Events, like the “Rocky Horror Picture Show”, Mini Cultural Film Festivals, and our NEW “Festival Around Town” events! You can help work concessions, sell tickets, or usher at these events.
Most of the volunteer opportunities are available year round! We’d love to have you jump in at anytime! So please feel free to take a look at the opportunities and find out how you can be a part of this organization!
APPLICATIONS FOR SCREENING FILMS FOR THE FILM FESTIVAL are open from April-June each year.
MARKETING TEAM: Join the team that reaches out to our community! We are looking for team members who are interested in helping with Social Media, Graphic Design for print media, Newsletters, Website Updates and much more! The overall Marketing plan will be developed in May & June with a complete calendar of things to do throughout the year.
EVENT PLANNING: We are expanding the festival! With our new “Festival Around Town” events, we’re looking to show films in a variety of locations! You could help find those locations, help with our special events like the “Rocky Horror Picture Show” and other film venues. We are also looking for planners for our Opening Night Reception, Saturday night Filmmaker Event and Award Ceremony. If this is something that fits what you like to do, we’d love to hear from you!
SPONSORSHIP, FUNDRAISING, GRANTS & PROGRAM AD’S: As a non-profit we are always looking for financial resources. Any one who has experience writing grants, creating fundraisers, reaching out to sponsors or willing to contact people for advertisement in our programs is welcome! We would love to have your help & ideas!
EDUCATIONAL EVENTS: We offer a variety of educational opportunities and are looking for volunteers to help us plan them. Our Future Filmmaker Competition is developed in June and needs volunteers to help reach students with the opportunity as well as additional help setting up their Boot Camp, Film Jury, and Awards ceremony. We are also looking for volunteers to help plan our workshops and Seminars that will be scheduled during the Festival.
SCREENING AND PROGRAMMING: There are opportunities for interested people to apply to screen films for the 2016 film festival. If you are interested, further information and qualifications for this opportunity can be reviewed here.
PHOTOGRAPHERS, USHERS, SET-UP, EVENT ONLY NEEDS, DISTRIBUTION, TICKETS: We have a variety of short term jobs where you can help! From Distributing marketing materials around town, helping with tickets, setting up events, and ushering, there is no end to the hands we may need at any given point! Just let us know and we’ll send out an ask thru Volunteerspot.com. You can sign up for any slot that fits your schedule! We always can use someone willing to take photographs of our events!
AV & FILM PRESENTATION: We are always looking for people with experience on the technical side! If you’re familiar with editing, running video software, audio, projectors and these things technical, let us know. We will be happy to hook you up with our technical director! We have a series of opportunities where we could use your help!

HELPING AT THE FESTIVAL
At the festival we need all sorts of help!
Usher: Greeting people at the door to the theatre, taking their tickets & ballots, doing ticket & ballot counts, seating people.
Tickets: Help sell tickets, handle money, ticket counts.
Set Up: Help with setting signs, posters and all things that say “this is the Festival!”
The location will be at St. Norbert College on March 2 -5, 2017
