A lonely college student grieving the loss of his mother has found purpose in a local megachurch. When a young pastor invites him to Chicago for a summer internship evangelizing the 'lost', his new faith is put to the test. A realistic, naturalistic portrait of evangelical Christianity and the rise and fall of intense belief.


Nathan Deming

Nathan Deming is an independent filmmaker currently based in Eau Claire, WI.

After studying at the London Film School in 2014 he has made several short films that have played at major European and US film festivals - the London Short Film Festival, the Edinburgh International Film Festival, Festival Premiers Plans'Dangers, the Wisconsin Film Festival - and has just finished his first feature film, "Speaking in Tongues."

Nathan's films are usually personal, exploring religion, family, and the Midwest.
