
Natasha Bishop is a 23-year-old filmmaker from Wellington, New Zealand. In 2013 she won the New Zealander of the Year “Local Hero” award for her short film Arboraceous, which was awarded Best Animation at the Japan Wildlife Film Festival. In 2016 she graduated with a Bachelor of Screen Arts at Unitec, and is graduating again this year with a Bachelor of Art and Design at Media Design School. Outside of studies she works as a freelance video editor. She has plans to continue her career in the animation and film industry, with a particular interest in children’s and environmental filmmaking.
