SAG-AFTRA National Native Americans Committee presents an informative, interactive “Business of Acting” workshop taught by professional actors, a casting director and other industry experts during the 2013 Green Bay Film Festival.  Participation is free and open to all ethnicities.

Workshop instructors include casting director Rene Haynes (The Twilight Saga: Eclipse & New Moon, Into the West), actress Delanna Studi (Edge of America), actor Brian Wescott (Christmas in the Clouds), and acting/dialect coach Nadia Venesse (The Help, Pacific Rim).

The workshop gives a thorough insight into headshots, resumes, reels, representation, audition tapes, social media resources, camera technique and an overview of the acting industry.

 Audition Opportunity:  Also, a select group from the audience will have an opportunity to practice auditioning with feedback from the workshop leaders and casting director.  In order to address camera technique, the audition will be live-projected on a big screen.
When: Sunday, March 3rd, 2013.  Event is from 1PM to 4PM CST.

This is a free event.  

Submitting to Audition:   If you are interested in the opportunity to participate in the audition portion of the workshop, send your digital headshot & resume to the RSVP email  no later thanFriday, February 15, 2013 by 5pm CST.  

 You do not need to be a SAG-AFTRA member to be selected.

The workshop casting director will select a diverse group of participants from a wide range of ethnicities, age and acting experience.  You will be notified in advance of the event if you are selected to audition, and you will receive sides to practice.  If you are not selected, you will still have the opportunity to drop off your headshot in person at the event for the casting director.
